The latest update to Mind Window was released with bug-fixes and updates along with adding support for iOS 26. Optional, anonymized geolocation is now available to share for research purposes.
NEW
- To address additional research questions, latitude and longitude information are now collected at the start of each check-in (if allowed by the user). When allowed, Mind Window only saves anonymized locations and researchers will not have access to a user’s actual location.
- A few new questions regarding hearing have been added to “Getting to Know You”.
- A new optional survey on ‘taking breaks’ has been added.
UPDATES/CHANGES
- Updated significant portions of the code base to stay up to date with recent Android and iOS updates.
- Assistants now have some additional messages to help notify users of potential setup problems.
- Consent form and Privacy statements have been updated.
- Plots, in the Statistics tab, now allow for scrolling through the plot (if there are a lot of time points, for example).
FIXES
- If there is a failed login attempt (wrong password, etc.) the username and password fields will no longer be disabled.
- (iOS) The last item in the “Household Size” list can now be selected.
- The various statistics screen buttons now all vertically align the same.
